Software Engineer

Prepare software test plans, set up test programs and procedures, and overall responsibility for performance of automated and manual test procedures, including data collection, reporting, and analysis. Define test cases, development of test procedures, test execution, and test reporting, per plan and schedule. Create test plans and procedures and control and execution of manual test procedures. Influence of product design for ease of testability, and analysis of test data for quality prediction purposes. Design and implementation of automated test scripts. Defect reporting and interface to software developers to design test cases, provide feedback, and document test results. Perform specialized test setups for research or customized delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related.

3 years of experience in Software Engineering.

Academic background or work experience to include: Microsoft Windows platforms and operating systems; Software test automation platforms; Writing test scripts; Software testing of embedded software; Create test plans and procedures; Execute manual test procedures; and Test set up for research & customized delivery. 40 hrs./wk.
